London Recruits Education Pack

Commissioned by documentary film company, Barefoot Rascals, and the National Education Union to produce an interactive online education resource for schools. Launched alongside a documentary film, ‘London Recruits’, the pack is a detailed study of covert anti-apartheid activity in South Africa in the 1970s and 80s. 

Designed for ages 11–14 across all ability ranges, the resource draws on personal testimonies from activists and archival material, and contains activities for students, video clips from the film and testimonies from the featured activists. 

Arranged a well attended public preview screening of the film with Q&A at an independent cinema in Manchester which was attended by the film’s director and featured activists.

Produced NEU conference publicity materials to promote both the film and the education resource.
