Thirty-odd years of making things look good and say the right thing.
I started out as a technical illustrator, graduated in 1990, and have been working with design tools, digital platforms, and communication challenges ever since. Over the years that's taken me from print studios and advertising agencies through interactive development, web build, and digital communications - not a straight line, but a coherent one.
I've worked in-house, freelance, and everything in between - for ad agencies, healthcare companies, retailers, educational bodies, campaign organisations, and heritage trusts. That breadth is useful: I'm not a specialist who only knows one kind of client, and I'm comfortable picking up a brief whether it's a product brochure, a website, a newsletter, or a set of exhibition panels.
I'm based on the beautiful South Wales coast and work remotely. I travel for projects when needed.
When I'm not working I'm usually walking or cycling in the countryside, and I'm no stranger to a surf board. I'm an amateur entomologist, a working class history enthusiast, and have a soft spot for brutalist architecture. I recently completed the Duolingo Welsh course - dw i'n dal i ymarfer.
